# Actually Asked > Actually Asked reads what a website's visitors ask, answers it from the site's own pages, and keeps the site's FAQ current. Merchants manage it in a web dashboard, from the Shopify admin, or from an AI assistant over MCP. Answers come only from the site's own sources: its pages, a help center or knowledge base the merchant adds, and PDF or Word files the merchant uploads, which can be private. When they don't cover a question, the visitor is pointed to the site's contact page and can leave an email. A question several visitors ask is answered and added to the FAQ on its own; the merchant can edit, pin or remove any entry. The FAQ installs with two lines on any site, or as a block in a Shopify theme. The free plan includes 50 AI answers a month. ## Features - [Inline FAQ](https://actuallyasked.com/features/inline-faq): A FAQ section in your page, not a chat bubble. - [Highlight to ask](https://actuallyasked.com/features/highlight-to-ask): Visitors select a sentence and ask about it. - [Self-improving FAQ](https://actuallyasked.com/features/self-improving-faq): The questions visitors ask most join your FAQ. - [Weekly gap report](https://actuallyasked.com/features/weekly-gap-report): What visitors asked and your site couldn't answer. - [Leads](https://actuallyasked.com/features/leads): Visitors who leave an email, ready to reply to. - [Shopify app](https://actuallyasked.com/features/shopify-app): A theme block, product FAQs and policies. - [MCP](https://actuallyasked.com/mcp): Manage your FAQ by asking Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant. ## Use cases - [Online stores](https://actuallyasked.com/use-cases/online-stores): Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace and custom shops. - [SaaS and apps](https://actuallyasked.com/use-cases/saas-and-apps): Pricing, plans and "does it do X" on marketing pages and docs. - [Travel and hospitality](https://actuallyasked.com/use-cases/travel-and-hospitality): Hotels, rentals and tours: check-in, cancellations, what's included. - [Services and clinics](https://actuallyasked.com/use-cases/services-and-clinics): Agencies, clinics, studios and coaches: booking, pricing, what to expect. ## Integrations - [Shopify](https://actuallyasked.com/features/shopify-app): A theme block, product FAQs and policies. - [Shopify App Store listing](https://apps.shopify.com/actually-asked): where a store installs the app - [WordPress](https://actuallyasked.com/integrations/wordpress): A Custom HTML block, or every page from the footer. - [Webflow](https://actuallyasked.com/integrations/webflow): A Code Embed, and the script in your site's footer code. - [Framer](https://actuallyasked.com/integrations/framer): The Marketplace plugin, or one component pasted onto your canvas. - [Squarespace](https://actuallyasked.com/integrations/squarespace): A Code block where the FAQ should show. - [Any website](https://actuallyasked.com/integrations/website): Static HTML, React, Next.js or your own templates. - [All integrations](https://actuallyasked.com/integrations): every site builder and assistant it works with ## MCP server Actually Asked is a remote MCP server for managing a website's FAQ, listed in the official MCP Registry as `com.actuallyasked/mcp`. - Address: https://mcp.actuallyasked.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP) - Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE.
