Add an AI FAQ to any website
Two lines of HTML put a FAQ section on any site you can edit, from static pages and your own templates to React and Next.js. It answers visitors from your own pages and grows from what they ask.
The two lines to paste
<div data-faq-widget="YOUR_SITE_KEY"></div> <script src="https://cdn.actuallyasked.com/w.js" async></script>
Install
Live in 3 steps.
Your snippet, with your site's key, is on your Install page as soon as you add your site.
In React or Next.js, load the script once in the root layout (in Next.js, next/script with strategy afterInteractive), and give the container a key that changes with the page, so client-side navigation shows each page's questions.
Steps
- Create a free Actually Asked account and add your site.
- Paste your snippet where the FAQ should show. If your pages share a layout, put it there once, with the script before </body>.
- Publish, and open a page to see it. Your Install page turns green the first time a visitor's browser loads it.
Paste where the FAQ should appear
<div data-faq-widget="YOUR_SITE_KEY"></div> <script src="https://cdn.actuallyasked.com/w.js" async></script>
What your site gets.
-
Two lines to install
Paste a div and a script, or add the block in your Shopify theme editor.
-
Real HTML
Plain questions and answers with FAQ structured data. It reads without JavaScript, and search engines see every entry.
-
Your colours, your radius
Pick a look, then change the colours, corners and spacing in the widget editor. The preview updates as you type.
-
Groups and page rules
Group entries under Shipping, Returns and Sizing. Show different entries on different pages with URL rules.
Or let your AI assistant install it: connect Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, and in your site's code it adds the snippet and checks it's live.
