Manage your FAQ from Codex
Add Actually Asked to Codex with one command and sign in with another. In your site's repository Codex can install the FAQ widget and check it's live; anywhere, it can review what visitors asked and keep your FAQ current.
Connect it once
Connect Codex in 4 steps.
Nothing to install, on every plan, free included.
Steps
- Create a free Actually Asked account and add your site.
- Add the server with the first command below.
- Sign in with the second. Codex opens your browser; sign in to Actually Asked, pick your account, and choose Connect.
- Ask Codex, in your site's repository or anywhere. /mcp in Codex shows it connected.

Try asking
Three requests to start with.
Paste one into Codex. It reads and changes your questions, FAQ, groups, page rules, leads and widget settings, and writes answers only from your own pages.
- Install the FAQ widget in our Next.js appLoads the script once in the root layout and gives the container a key per page, so client-side navigation shows each page's questions.
- Which of this week's questions do our docs miss?Lists the questions your pages couldn't answer, so Codex can draft the missing section in the same repository.
- Publish the suggested questions that are rightChecks each suggestion against your pages, fixes what they contradict, and publishes the rest.
The same rules as the dashboard
It works for you. It never overrules you.
-
Your plan's limits
It can do what your plan allows and nothing more.
-
Your edits stay yours
Removed questions stay removed, and nothing it writes is rewritten by the system.
-
It asks before deleting
Deleting a group or a page rule, or discarding a question, waits for your yes.
